Graffiti Hotline

In 1994, members of the NWBWC, Inc. traveled to Santa Barbara, California to research the United Against Crime Anti-Graffiti program.   Subsequent partnerships were then developed with Phoenix City Officials, Phoenix Police Officers and school administrators.  Through this coalition the Graffiti Hotline was developed and soon expanded County-wide.  The coalition continued to develop partnerships which included the Phoenix Police Department, Maricopa County Attorney, the United States Attorney District of Arizona  and other law enforcement agencies.  The Graffiti Hotline phone number (602) 262-7327 went on line to report graffiti vandals in February of 1995.

In 1997 The Northwest Block Watch Coalition, Inc. initiated a promotional campaign funded with grants provided by the Maricopa County Attorney and the United States Attorney District of Arizona.  We continue to promote the Hotline with Night Vision Posters,  billboards, 150,000 business cards, 200,000 pencils, Graffiti Hotline T-shirts and mugs.
